Pizza Shop Game - Mobile Optimized LowPoly Art
Project Overview
Pizza Shop Game is a casual simulation game developed specifically for mobile platforms, where players take on the role of a pizza shop owner. The core gameplay revolves around preparing, baking, and serving pizzas to customers in a dynamic and visually engaging environment. The visual direction of the game is heavily stylized, relying on low-poly aesthetics to create a fun, vibrant, and easily readable game world. The art style not only supports the lighthearted theme of the game but also plays a crucial role in ensuring high performance across a wide range of Android and iOS devices.
My Role & Tools
As a 3D Artist for this project, I was responsible for designing and producing all the 3D content seen in the game. This included modeling the entire pizza shop interior and exterior, creating character models with interchangeable outfits, animatable props like ovens and utensils, and decorative elements to enrich the scene. I maintained a consistent low-poly aesthetic, carefully balancing artistic style with technical performance.
To achieve this, I primarily used Blender for 3D modeling, UV unwrapping, and scene layout. The intuitive tools in Blender allowed for efficient creation of clean, low-polygon geometry with a stylized look. I used Substance Painter for adding baked texture details while keeping texture maps lightweight and optimized.
The Result
The final product was a visually cohesive, mobile-optimized game that delivered a lively and satisfying player experience. The low-poly art style was well-received, especially among casual players, and contributed significantly to the game’s unique identity. Thanks to efficient modeling practices and careful texture management, the game maintained excellent frame rates across a variety of devices without sacrificing visual appeal. My work helped establish a playful and immersive game world that was both technically efficient and creatively engaging, making it a standout title in the casual mobile game space.
